Privacy policy.

TableSide Media connects local businesses with content creators. This policy explains what we collect from creators who apply to our network and from businesses who send us an inquiry, how we use it, and how to reach us if you want it changed or removed.

Who we are

TableSide Media is a creator marketing company based in Illinois. You can reach us any time at hello@tablesidemedia.co.

What we collect from creator applicants

When you fill out the creator application, we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• Your country, your city, your state or province, and your ZIP or postal code, the area you are based in, and how far you are willing to travel.
• Your Instagram, TikTok and YouTube handles or links, and your follower counts on Instagram and TikTok.
• The kinds of collaborations you will take, your content style, whether you usually bring a plus one, any dietary needs, and the cuisines you enjoy.
• Whether you are willing to leave a Google review for a business after your visit.
• Your acceptance of the Creator Collaboration Agreement, along with the version you accepted and the date and time you accepted it.

Later, if you join the network and use your creator portal, we also collect your gender and age range, which you select from a list, and we also keep the records of your collaborations: the visits you are booked for, the content you submit, and the messages between us.

What we collect from business inquiries

When you fill out the business inquiry form, we collect:

• Your business name and type of business.
• Your address, city, state or province, ZIP or postal code and country, and any other locations you tell us about.
• Your Instagram handle and website.
• The contact name, phone number and email address for the person we should reach.
• How you prefer to be contacted.
• What you are interested in, how soon you want to start, how many creators you would like per campaign, whether you are open to hosting creators, and anything else you choose to tell us.
• How you heard about us, including who referred you if you tell us.

What we do not collect

This site does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We do not collect payment card numbers on this site; when a campaign is invoiced, payment is handled by our payment processor and card details go to them, not to us.

How we use it

• Matching. We use a creator's location, travel radius, platforms, content style and preferences to match them with businesses that fit, and a business's location, type and interests to build the right roster.
• Scheduling. We use contact details to arrange visit dates and times and to send reminders and confirmations.
• Texts and emails. We use your phone number and email address to contact you about collaborations, bookings, reminders, proposals and invoices. See our SMS terms for what we text and how to stop.
• Application review. We use what you submit to decide whether to invite you into the network or to move forward with a campaign.
• Improving the service. We look at how campaigns perform in aggregate so we can run better ones.

Who we share it with

• The hosting business. When a creator is booked for a visit, the business sees the creator's name and the date and time of the visit. Before a booking is confirmed, the name is shown as a first name and last initial. For an upcoming confirmed visit, the business also sees the creator's Instagram and TikTok handles so they know who is arriving. We do not give the business the creator's phone number, email address or follower counts.
• Service providers. We use outside companies to send text messages, send email, take payments, host this site and our application, store our data, and help draft replies to messages. They may see the information they need to do that work and are not permitted to use it for anything else.
• Legal requests. We may disclose information if we are required to by law, or to protect the safety of a person involved in a collaboration.

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Creator content

Content a creator makes stays the creator's. Under the Creator Collaboration Agreement, the hosting business may reshare and boost that content from its own accounts, and TableSide Media may reshare it in our own marketing: on our social accounts, on this site, and in materials we show to prospective clients, with credit to the creator. How long we keep it

We keep creator and business records for as long as the relationship is active and afterwards for as long as we need them for our own records: to honor a signed agreement, to answer a question about a past campaign, and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Signed agreements and invoices are kept for at least seven years. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except for anything we are required to keep.

One record we keep permanently is a phone number that has opted out of our texts. We keep it precisely so that we never text that number again; deleting it would undo the opt-out.

Your choices

• Texts. Reply STOP to any text from us to stop receiving them. See our SMS terms.
• Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
• Access, correction and deletion. Email hello@tablesidemedia.co and tell us what you want: a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm you are who you say you are before we act on the request.

If you are in Canada

TableSide Media is based in Illinois, in the United States. If you are in Canada, the information described in this policy is transferred to the United States and is stored and processed there, by us and by the outside companies listed under Who we share it with. While it is there it is subject to United States law, which means a United States court or government authority could require access to it. We collect the same information from you, and use it for the same things, as described everywhere else on this page.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it, the same way anyone else can: email hello@tablesidemedia.co, and see Your choices above for how we handle it and how long we take. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

About texts. We do not currently send automated texts to Canadian phone numbers. Until our consent process for Canadian recipients has been reviewed against Canada's anti-spam law, we contact creators with Canadian numbers by email instead, including about collaborations and bookings. You can still reply STOP to any text from us, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Age

This service is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We protect your information with access controls and encryption in transit, and we limit who inside TableSide Media can see it. No system is perfect, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be sent to the email address we have on file for you.
